Facts
- Epimelea is an app for existential-humanistic psychotherapy with an AI therapist. The therapist is a language model, and the app says so.
- The first two meetings are free, then $19 a month. Meetings are not counted.
- There is no account: no email, no phone, no name. A person gets an archive name and a password.
- The archive is encrypted on the device. The server stores ciphertext it cannot read.
- A forgotten password cannot be recovered.
- To answer, the model provider receives the text of a meeting in readable form. A copy stays with the provider for up to thirty days for abuse monitoring.
- Works in the browser, on Android and on iOS. The archive is the same everywhere.
- 22 languages.
- The archive exports as a folder of plain files.
